Abstract:While Chinese hydropower companies go global, risk events have become a huge challenge, and they have paid more attention to the overseas intelligence activities. The existing practices and researches have focused primarily on the intelligence sector, and the researches on non-intelligence departments are insufficient. The researches on the intelligence activities of non-intelligence departments are performed, including the scope and depth of intelligence activities, analysis of their impact on intelligence capabilities of enterprises, and incorporation of the collaborative governance of intelligence departments as the intermediary variables. The empirical analysis of the sample data of 113 enterprises shows that the intelligence activities of non-intelligence departments have a positive impact on the overseas intelligence capabilities of enterprises, and the collaborative governance of intelligence departments has a mediating effect in this process.
