After many years' development, the social capital's participation in the construction and operation of water conservancy projects(PPP)has increased, but the proportion of the PPP projects to the national PPP projects or the water conservancy construction projects is still not high. The current situation of PPP mode of water conservancy projects are summarized, and the main problems in the implementation of PPP mode of water conservancy projects are analyzed. According to the existing problems, some suggestions are put forward: emphasis on the compilation of implementation plan of projects, promotion of project planning quality, improvement of mechanism of risk identification and cause analysis of risk formation and prevention, and strengthening of performance appraisal and design of incentive mechanism.
