Energy is closely related with the sustainabledevelopment of the society of human beings. However,sociological research in China at present has made littlecontribution to both academic research and realisticcountermeasures. While in overseas countries, there havebeen quantities of sociological studies on this issue. Basedon such circumstance, this paper reviews the existingstudies and categorizes them into four types: energy andsocial type, social production mechanism of energyproblems, energy consumption and energy supply. And onthe basis of these reviews, this paper forecasts the topicsthat future research need pay great attention to.
