With the rapid development of information network technology, WeChat has become a widely used tool for the exchange of ideas between teachers and students in universities. The WeChat community has a profound impact on ideological and political education of college students: On the positive side, it enriches the education carrier, opens up a new platform,improves the affinity and enhances convenience.However, WeChat community is a double-edged sword. It also has negative impact on education: It vacillates the authority of education subject, easily leads to confusion due to bad information and weakens the actual effects of ideological and political education because of fragmented information. WeChat depends on the effect of psychological cognitive development.The paper proposes the improving strategies from the following aspects: strengthening ideological and political education workers'ability to control the information construction, selecting information and enhancing the WeChat communication attraction,establishing the integrated education network to promote cognitive development, integrating resources to improve long-term mechanism.
