Social management relates to the exercise of public power and the formation of state decisionmaking, which is an aggregation of institutions and behaviors. The social management model depends on the social existence. The scientific and technological achievements featured by the Internet, big data and artificial intelligence have caused many changes in the economic and social fields, changing people’s production mode and lifestyle and pushing the society towards informatization, digitization and intelligentization. As the superstructure, the social governance model should adapt to the changes in the social and economic foundation and have feedback on the social existence so as to better promote the development of society. The governance model of smart society should flexibly adopt the emerging science and technology. Moreover, it should fully embody “wisdom+” way of thinking in the system design, establish an alliance between partners to work together and focus on people’s livelihood so as to achieve green and sustainable development.
