In terms of the goal, common prosperity is comprehensive prosperity that unites material prosperity and spiritual prosperity. In terms of the requirements, common prosperity is a joint construction of prosperity that unites the sharing of rights and the sharing of obligations. And in terms of the process, common prosperity is gradual prosperity that unites the dynamic process and the development goal. The solid promotion of common prosperity on the road of Chinese-style modernization not only deeply reflects the original heart and mission of the CPC’s solemn commitment to the general public, but also fully embodies the value pursuit of Xi Jinping’s thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era. In the new era and new journey, China is heading for a new road to achieve the second centenary goal. Based on the new stage of development, facing new opportunities and challenges, we need to take the realization of the people’s aspirations for a better life as the starting point and ending point of modernization, integrate the goal of common prosperity with the process of Chinese modernization, coordinate the relationship between the whole and the part, and focus on “common” and “universal” values.
