Since the founding of the Communist Party of China, the inspection system has experienced five stages of development: germination and start-up, inheritance and exploration, restoration and reconstruction, standardization and development, maturity and perfection. In the course of its historical evolution, the inspection system has shown distinct characteristics, such as the transformation of inspection authority from relatively strong to comprehensively enhancement, the transformation of inspection content from relatively simple to increasingly rich, the transformation of inspection process from non-standard to standardized, and the transformation of inspection methods from single to diverse. The inspection system is a sharp sword of intra-party supervision and plays an important role. Under the background of the new era, it is necessary to deepen the understanding of the regularity of inspection work and strengthen the theoretical innovation of inspection system. We should pay attention to the improvement of the inspection system and enhance the scientific and efficient inspection system. We should pay attention to the practice and application of inspection system and strengthen the actual transformation of inspection results. We should pay attention to the coordination and cooperation of inspection system and emphasize the coordination and promotion of inspection methods. We also need to pay attention to the mechanism of inspection and emphasize the upper and lower linkage of inspection.
