    Abstract:

The soil adsorption experiment is conducted to study the adsorption characteristics of bisphenol A(BPA)in different graded soils, and the relationships between soil particle characteristics, hydraulic characteristics and soil adsorption characteristics were analyzed. The experimental results showed that the adsorption of BPA in soils with different gradations was nonlinear adsorption and could be described by the Freundlich adsorption isotherm model. However, the adsorption of BPA by the soil with particle size less than 0. 075 mm was close to the linear adsorption and the nonlinear factor was 0. 979. The mass fraction of particles below 0. 01 mm is directly proportional to the adsorption capacity. The soil adsorption was inversely proportional to the permeability coefficient of soil and the adsorption of BPA on the soil tended to be constant as the permeability coefficient increased.
