    Abstract:

    To obtain large-area seismic deformation, the imaging mode and data characteristics of ESAs new generation Sentinel-1A SAR were studied. The method for processing interferometric data from TOPSAR images is presented in this paper. Based on data from the Sentinel-1A, an interferogram covering an area of 160 km×180 km in the region of the Nepal April 25 earthquake was generated. The results show that the maximal relative deformation in the line of sight direction reaches about 2 m.
