Abstract:Based on the cityscape data of 107 cities in Yangtze River economic zone from 2005 to 2016, the spatial and temporal pattern of urban ecological efficiency is evaluated by using the Super-SBM method, and its influencing factors are discussed by establishing the generalized system GMM estimation. In conclusion, firstly, the urban ecological efficiency has positive time lag effect, showing an overall upward trendand gradual decrease in the gap ofinterbasin areas in the sampling period. Secondly, partial regions present the trend of spatial agglomeration, Yangtze River Delta and Chengdu-Chongqing Region present positive clustering characteristics, and Nanchang and Guiyang regions present negative clustering characteristics. The influencing factors of ecological efficiency shows that the advanced industrial structure and rationalization of industrial structure have heterogeneous effects on the ecological efficiency. In addition, they have substitution relationship. It is found that the advanced industrial structure inhibits the ecological efficiency, and the rationalization of industrial structure is beneficial to the improvement of the urban ecological efficiency. It is also discovered that the hypothesis environmental Kuznets curve and pollution Halo hypothesis still hold in the Yangtze River economic zone.
