The coastal areas of Jiangsu province have obvious geographical advantages, abundant provincial economic foundation, perfect transportation system, and special wetland ecosystem, which have unique development advantages. With the "The Belt and Road", the Yangtze River economic belt, Jiangsu coastal development strategy, marine economy has become an important power to promote economic and social development in the Yangtze River Zone and the East Longhai area. In this paper, based on the current situation of Jiangsu coastal resources and coastal economic development, improving the port infrastructure, promoting industrial upgrading, strengthening the coastal city group construction and protecting the wetland environment is proposed.
