According to the situations of water environment and liquor enterprises in Chishui River Basin, the authors of this paper analyzed the importance of the liquor enterprises in local economic structure and the dependence & influence of the liquor enterprises on water quality, and drew a conclusion that the liquor enterprises had great influence on water environment protection. On these bases, some problems were pointed out from the perspectives of the lack of comprehensive protection & development planning, the relative short of environmental protection work of liquor enterprises, and the relative backward of investment & financing mode of protection & treatment. Some policy suggestions including making comprehensive protection & development planning, standardizing the development of liquor enterprises, establishing the emissions-trading market and raising the standard of charges for disposing pollutants, establishing stable & reliable investment & financing mode and the ecological compensation mechanism were put forward.
