Abstract:Based on the water footprint theory of crop production, we analyzed the water footprint of main crop production in 13 Jing-Jin-Ji regions(2 municipalities and 11 prefecture-level cities)in 2014. Meteorological and agricultural basic data was analyzed by combing the Penman equation with CROPWAT software. The results showed that: the water requirement of wheat in the whole growth period was mainly blue water footprint, but green water for maize in this area; The total water footprint for five crops production in the Jing-Jin-Ji Region in 2014 was 437. 03 billion m3, of which green water footprint was 137. 71 billion m3, blue water footprint was 176. 03 billion m3 and grey water footprint was 123. 30 billion m3; In terms of the spatial distribution of the total water footprint of these five crops in the Jing-Jin-Ji Region, we found that the main crop production of Cangzhou, Baoding, Handan, and Shijiazhuang major contribution to water footprint.
