Abstract:In order to reveal the potential impacts of climate change on water quality in Yuqiao Reservoir, Tianjin water source area, the generalized additive model(GAM)was used to analyze the non-parametric regression of meteorological data and water quality data from 2000 to 2011. The correlation between rainfall, maximum wind speed, solar radiation, suspended solids(SS)and total phosphorus(TP)were studied. The results show that the three meteorological factors have certain effects on SS concentration. The maximum wind speed has a significant positive correlation with SS in spring, and the solar radiation and SS also have a good positive correlation in annual samples. Due to the adsorption and resuspension effect of SS, TP and SS also show a significant positive correlation.
