Abstract:Based on the concept and connotation of water-related eco-environmental carrying capacity, in this study the index system framework was constructed, which included the water(soil)resource subsystem, the water-related eco-environmental subsystem and the socioeconomic subsystem. According to the indicator selection principle, the analytic hierarchy process combining with the actual water resources situation, water-related eco-environmental problems and socioeconomic development characteristics of Changxing County, the water-related eco-environmental carrying capacity evaluation index system was constructed, which included two water resource indicators, ten water-related eco-environmental indicators and seven socio-economic indicators. Based on the built index system, the evaluation results show that the water resources surplus and deficiency level estimating index was 0. 711 9, the water-related eco-environmental quality estimating index was 0. 880 8, socioeconomic level estimating index was 0. 850 6 and the comprehensive estimating index was 0. 820 7 by using the carrying status comprehensive evaluation model for the Changxing County in 2014. These results indicate that the water-related eco-environmental carrying status in Changxing County in 2014 was generally in a good carrying status, in line with the actual situation.
