Abstract:In order to maintain their sustainable development capacity, the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the professional cooperative societies for reservoir resettlement are analyzed by using the SWOT method based on the empirical analysis of 8 professional cooperative societies for reservoir resettlement of Project L and Project N in N Province. It is pointed out that these professional cooperative societies are still at the primary stage with coexistence of opportunities and threats, and the foundation-consolidated strategy should be taken, that is, taking measures to strengthen the internal construction, the government's macro support and other initiatives to maintain the sustainable development capacity of professional cooperative societies for reservoir resettlement on the basis of making full use of the external opportunities and overcoming the internal weaknesses.
