We studied the development pattern of multiple water resource utilization on islands with notable feature of sea water utilization. We analyzed the useable water sources on islands and suggest introducing seawater utilization into island water recycle system, making use of seawater in multiple ways like drinking water, toilet flushing, air-condition, etc. and improving the ability of water supply on islands. Such methods could provide stable insurance to the sustainable development of islands.
