A synchronous removal technology of carbon, nitrogen and sulfur pollutants from sediment in heavily polluted rivers based on “treating sediment before water” model

    摘要:

    针对传统“水驱动泥”修复技术易返黑返臭的弊端,创新性地提出了“先泥后水”的治理模式,即基于“缓释型功能材料协同微生物反硝化强化驱动底泥耗氧物质消除”的思路,研发了底泥碳氮硫污染物同步去除技术,并进行了示范应用。结果表明:原位修复60d后,底泥中碳氮硫污染物的去除率分别达到36%~41%、45%~58%和89%~91%,氧化层深度达到15.5~17.6cm。新模式和新技术能有效氧化深层底泥,实现“活泥”带动“活水”,保障了河流水环境健康。

    Abstract:

    Given the disadvantages of the traditional “water-driven sediment” restoration technology, which is easy to return to black and odorous for the treated sediment, a novel treatment mode of “treating sediment before water” was proposed. Based on the idea of “sustained-release functional materials in coordination with microbial denitrification enhancement to drive the removal of oxygen-consuming substances from sediment”, a synchronous removal technology of carbon, nitrogen and sulfur pollutants from sediment was developed and was demonstrated in the pilot application. The results showed that, after 60 days of in-situ remediation, the removal efficiencies of TOC, TN and AVS in the sediment were 36% to 41%, 45% to 58%, and 89% to 91%, respectively, and the oxidation layer depth in sediment reached 15.5 to 17.6 cm. This new model and new technology can effectively oxidize deep sediment to improves the water quality, protecting the river environment health.
