Abstract:Based on the relevant data of multi-region input-output(MRIO)tables in the year of 2002, 2007 and 2012, the spatial correlation and structural characteristics of Chinas water resource flow network were analyzed by using MRIO model and social network analysis(SNA). The results show that the number of links in the network does not increase with the increase of water footprint trade value. The traffic on the link path is increasing, the network is not strong enough, the spatial connection channel needs to be expanded, there is a certain level difference, and the stability needs to be strengthened. The increase in links in some provinces will weaken the number of links in other provinces. This plasticity feature is conducive to the rational allocation of water resources across the country. The network is divided into four plates, and the spillover relationship between plates is mainly internal. There is no spillover relationship between individual plates.
