Abstract:To study the effect of regional rain-flood control under different combinations of LID measures, a storm water management model is established by taking a region in Yuhuatai District, Nanjing as the study subject. Four combinations of LID measures are added to the model respectively to simulate and analyze the situations of surface runoff, node overflow and pollutant discharge in the study region under the condition of two-year, three-year, five-year, and ten-year rainfalls. The results show that different combinations of LID measures could decrease surface runoff, mitigate node overflow and reduce pollutant discharge in the study region. However, with the increase of rainfall recurrence period, the effect of rain-flood control is reduced. Giving priority to green roof and permeable pavement, with appropriate proportion of biological detention facilities, and the combination of rainwater garden facilities, have a better control effect on the rain-flood in the study area combination of LID measures which includes many green roofs, many permeable pavements, a appropriate proportion of biological retention measures and rainwater gardens has a better effect on the rain-flood control in the study region.
