The problem of moral identity which derives from the self-awakening of the subject′s moral consciousness represents deep-seated contradictions in moral consciousness or between the different moral consciousnesses. These contradictions in modern society are very intense and make the individual moral consciousness be in predicament which represents the inner-tangle of moral-self identity, the tension between ego and the other and the deviation between moral self and ethical entity. To deal with this dilemma, the traditional ethics thought and modern morality construction may provide direction for further thinking.
