There have been a lot of comments on belief made by leaders of the Party and nation ideal and since the implementaion of reform and opening policy. Most comments which have distinctive characteristics are made by Xi Jinping. In the five years after the 17th national congressof the Communist Party of China，Xi Jinping, as an impotant member of the leading group，has made comments on ideal and belief on many occasions based on the work he is in charge of. In more than two years after the 18th national congress，he made further elaborations on ideal and belief from the perspective of the whole Party and nation. In summary，comments on ideal and belief made by Xi Jinping include four aspects，namely，the content and standard of ideal and belief, the position and function of ideal and belief, the challenges and problems of ideal and belief, and the cinstruction and education of ideal and belief.
