Many polluting enterprises move to rural areas because of the acceleration of urbanization and industrialization.The paper uses the method of thick description to show the environment resistance of a suburban village from beginning to the end by a story.Then it analyzes the causes of environmental resistance of grass-roofed farmers during the period of social transition. In response to pollution，it discusses the environmental contingency inverse movement launched by grass-rooted groups，environmental NGO，media and central government and explores the local experience of environmental resistance of Chinese farmers. It is found that political and economic integration results in farmers' environmental resistance which is caused by social structure，economic system the change of value ideas and rational bewilderment of enterprises during social transformation period.The victory of farmers' environmental resistance is closely related to the interaction among the subjects of inverse movement.The farmers' environmental resistance of suburban village bears the characteristic of contingent which is different from western large-scale environmental movement.
