Abstract:China has formed four types of migration tide. To begin with, since the reform and opening up, the total number of migrant workers moving from countryside to cities has declined and the problems of arrears wages, no contracts of labor and lacking of equal treatment still exist. Secondly, the number of migrants of supporting the poor, ecological protection, relocation due to disasters and reservoir building is increasing, which leads to the problems of capital, followup support and urbanization. Thirdly, many students going to study abroad at their own expense and the rich want to return from foreign countries to China, which calls attention to the issues of improving education and protecting private properties. Finally, China catches the eye of the overseas citizens to become immigrants, which results in increasing number of illegal immigrants. Therefore, the paper proposes that Immigration Law and relevant policies should be made to attract various talents and investment.
