With the profound adjustment of the interest pattern in the transformation period of society, the resistance for rights and interests of middle class is increasing, and the transfer of subject in social contradictions leads to greater difficulty in social governance. Then, based on survey data, the paper analyzes the characteristics of the resistance for rights and interests of middle class as follows: Their resistance is mainly to safeguard their own developmental rights and interests; They have the expertise which makes their ability to resistance better; They have more social capital for resistance; Their resistance is more rational and lawabiding; Their strategies of resistance focus more on the technology of organization and mobilization. Therefore, detailed suggestions for governance of social contradictions are proposed: Firstly, developmental rights and interests of middle class should be protected; Secondly, the nature of resistance for rights and interests of middle class should be understood correctly; Thirdly, the resistance should be openly and transparently, dealt with according to law; Finally, communication and negotiation should be paid more attention to during the process of solving problems.
