In the report of the 19th National Congress of the Party, General Secretary Xi Jinping proposed the idea of having firm cultural self-confidence to promote the prosperity of socialist culture. One of the important tasks of China is to have firm cultural self—confidence under the guidance of Marxism to enhance national cultural soft force to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. From metaphysics theory logic to practice makes the three dimensions of cultural self- confidence available. The necessary starting point and fundamental requirement of having firm cultural self- confidence lie in national spirit. In contemporary era, cultural self-confidence should have self- consciousness, which means focusing on practice to unite the past and present culture. The successful criteria of firm cultural self-confidence should be centered on external confirmation instead of on internal seeking. The firm cultural self-confidence aims to construct strong socialist culture to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Therefore, the paper proposed the following five ways of establishing firm cultural self-confidence: controlling leadership of ideology work, fostering and practicing socialist core values, strengthening moral education, booming socialist art and promoting the development of cultural cause and cultural industry.
