Abstract:Diplomatic concept is the core value of foreign policy and diplomatic activities. There are two main phases for the development of diplomatic concept: one is the Cold War thinking since the founding of the People’s Republic of China, and the other is the diplomatic concept of peace and development since the reform and openingup policy. In the respect of ethics, there is a complex and sequential evolution process. As a whole, it takes on a look of “the strugglecooperation ethic”, demonstrating three different forms of ethics. To be specific, the first one is “the strugglecooperation ethic” centered on institution difference and class justice; the second one is “the strugglecooperation ethic” focused on mutual benefits; and the last one is “the strugglecooperation ethic” which emphasizes the responsibility of the great power. As China enters a new era of socialism, there is a tendency that our country’s diplomacy ethics will change from national security to national development, and then from national development to global development.
