Abstract:Xi Jinping’s important statement on the correct value of moral and shared interest has become an important value orientation of China’s diplomatic affair. The formation of this scientific viewpoint is a construction process based on Marx and Engels’ thought of international relations, taking Chinese traditional thought of moral and interest as the cultural source, and taking the evolution of Chinese Communists’ political ethics wisdom as the historical dimension. On the theoretical basis, Xi Jinping’s correct value of moral and shared interest inherits the theoretical essence of national interest, internationalism, free association, morality and moral principles, and achieves the transformation of Marx and Engels’ thought of international relations to contemporary forms. On the source of culture, Xi Jinping’s statement about the correct value of moral and shared interest scientifically grasps the value orientation of “moral” and “interest” in the traditional relationship of moral and shared interest, and achieves the transcendence of traditional thought of moral and shared interest. From a historical perspective, Xi Jinping’s statement about the correct value of moral and shared interest is the evolution and development of the political ethics and wisdom of the Chinese communists, such as Mao Zedong’s proletarian revolutionary utilitarian value of moral and shared interest and socialist value of moral and shared interest, which achieves the transformation of the relationship between moral and interest from the perspective of domestic strategy to international strategy.
