As a red cultural resource, Zhang Wentian Exhibition Hall of Hohai University plays an important role in inheriting and promoting Zhang Wentian’s core values and giving full play to the educational function of red culture. In order to highlight the characteristics and advantages, the exhibition hall has explored four aspects in educational practice. From “surface” to “connotation ”, it deeply digs out Zhang Wentian’s spiritual connotation, from “spread” to “activation”, it carries out red cultural education, from “offline” to “online ”, it innovates educational practice mode, and from “campus” to “society”, it expands the service function of educating people outside the campus based on the practicing foundation. The educational practice of Zhang Wentian Exhibition Hall also provides enlightenment for colleges and universities to use red cultural resources for ideological and political education, such as the socialization of schoolbased resources, the modernization of historical resources, and the practice of spiritual resources.
