Abstract:In recent years, with the rapid development of digital information technology revolution, the following “digital divide”, “digital exclusion” and “digital poverty” make the social survival of the elderly group difficult. In addition, the “digital vulnerability” will not disappear with the renewal of science and technology and inter-generational change, but will make the distribution of digital resources more unbalanced with the improvement of digitization. As a result, there will be more widespread discrimination against the elderly. In view of this, it is imperative to promote the construction of an aging friendly digital inclusive society. From the perspective of “ethics reality” two-dimensional framework, this paper focuses on the social roots and evolution mechanism of the existence and emergence of the digital divide, discusses the construction strategy of “elderly-friendly digital inclusive society”, and comes to the conclusion that the digital vulnerability of the elderly group can be fundamentally improved based on the three dimensions of strengthening digital power, refining social support and optimizing public services.
