The common values of all mankind are an important value initiative for the future of mankind, and Xi Jinping has repeatedly emphasized the need to understand, promote and practice the common values of all mankind from the perspective of the subjectivity of different civilizations, different countries and different people. Under the guidance of Marxist subjectivity, the common value of all mankind is distinctly realistic, practical and transcendent. The subjectivity of the common value of all mankind has a threefold dimension. In the world dimension, it promotes the common cause of peace and development of all countries, pursues the common ideal of fairness and justice in the international order, and insists on the common pursuit of democracy and freedom in global governance. In the national dimension, we adhere to the national path of peace and development, uphold the national system of fairness and justice, and promote the national governance of democracy and freedom. In the individual dimension, we should build human rights guarantees for peace and development, satisfy people’s needs for a better life, and cultivate the subjective consciousness and value realization of democracy and freedom. Further exploration of the practical logic of the common value of all mankind is the process of co-creating the object of value through interaction, cooperation and sharing among the subjects naturally born in human history, and the realization of value in turn nurtures the subject of value and strengthens the capacity and level of symbiosis, communion and consensus among the subjects. Firstly, it will break the “clash of civilizations theory” and move towards a harmonious, orderly and standardized state of symbiosis. Secondly, we should break down the barriers between civilizations and create a common state of emotional resonance, identity and value. Finally, value consensus is generated through common practice, which is further coalesced into common value norms. In an era of shared human destiny, the significance of promoting and practicing the common values of all humankind in the spirit of subjectivity has become more and more prominent, providing a value basis for the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind.
