    作为新型生产资料,数字要素正加速向各产业部门渗透,为城市经济增长注入了强劲动力,并深刻重塑经济发展的空间格局,对促进区域协调发展、缩小城乡与城际发展差距具有重要意义。依据《数字经济及其核心产业统计分类(2021)》,结合投入产出分析方法测度各城市的数实融合水平,并在此基础上考察数字要素投入对城市经济增长收敛性的影响及其作用机制。研究结果表明:数字要素投入具有显著的空间溢出效应,能有效推动城市经济增长趋于收敛,使绝对 β 收敛速度与条件 β 收敛速度分别提升15.74%和4.83%,并对不同地理区位、行政等级和资源禀赋城市的俱乐部收敛产生异质性影响。机制检验证实,数字要素主要通过两条渠道产生空间效应:一是打破地域壁垒与行政垄断,缓解市场分割,促进生产要素在更广范围内的自由流动与优化配置;二是加速先进技术的跨区域传播与扩散,降低技术获取与应用成本,推动创新成果在城市间共享。进一步区分数字要素类型的研究发现,数字化产品与服务、数字技术及软件的投入对城市经济增长收敛的促进作用大于数字基础硬件。从城市体系维度回应了数字经济发展中的效率与公平问题,并为发挥数字要素的空间效应、推动区域均衡发展提供了政策建议。

    Abstract:

    Digital factors, as a new type of production factor, are permeating various industrial sectors rapidly. They provide powerful momentum for urban economic growth and profoundly reshape the spatial structure of economic development, thereby playing a significant role in promoting coordinated regional development and narrowing the development gaps between urban and rural areas as well as among cities. Drawing on the Statistical Classification of the Digital Economy and Its Core Industries (2021) and employing input-output analysis, this paper measures the integration of the digital and real economy in various cities, aiming to examine the impact of digital factor inputs on the convergence of urban economic growth and its underlying mechanisms. The findings reveal that digital factor investment generates a notable spatial spillover effect, effectively promoting convergence in urban economic growth. It raises the speed of absolute convergence and conditional convergence by 15.74% and 4.83%, respectively, and exerts heterogeneous influences on club convergence in cities with different geographical locations, administrative tiers, and resource endowments. Mechanism tests confirm that digital factors produce spatial effects primarily through two channels: (1) breaking down regional barriers and administrative monopolies, thereby mitigating market segmentation and facilitating the freer flow and optimal allocation of production factors across broader areas; (2) accelerating the cross-regional dissemination and diffusion of advanced technologies, thereby lowering the costs of technology acquisition and application and fostering the sharing of innovation outcomes among cities. Further analysis distinguishing types of digital factors shows that inputs in digital products and services, digital technologies, and software contribute more to urban economic growth convergence than investments in digital infrastructure hardware. This paper addresses the efficiency and equity issues in the development of the digital economy from an urban system perspective and offers policy insights into leveraging the spatial effects of digital factor inputs to promote balanced regional development.
